He has extensive background in originating all types of secured and unsecured business loans including commercial real estate, lines of credit, term loans, agriculture, faith-based and Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. Jim has in-depth experience in administering commercial loan programs, from soliciting loans to developing and administering a commercial loan portfolio, and has managed portfolios ranging from $15 million to $800+ million. Jim leads the commercial loan underwriting group and regularly consults with credit unions on business loans. |

He founded CU Business Group’s east coast operations in 2003, and has gained significant experience in credit union business services since then. Michael has underwritten all types of business loans, including commercial real estate, lines of credit, term loans, taxi medallions, letters of credit, and asset-based lines. He also has extensive experience with SBA lending, has 12 years experience as a branch manager, and served as Director of Consumer and Home Equity Lending. He is a former instructor for the American Institute of Banking and has taught extensively throughout his banking and credit union career. Michael consults with credit unions in the eastern U.S. on all aspects of business services planning, program development, account pricing, and education. |

Most recently he served as a Commercial Loan Officer and Vice President of a Texas based community bank where he was responsible for business development and portfolio management with an emphasis on real estate and healthcare banking. Previously he was Director of the Small Business Development Center at Lone Star Community College System in Houston. Mike has significant experience in all facets of business banking including commercial real estate, agriculture, equipment and Small Business Administration lending, credit analysis, loan review and compliance. In addition he is an adjunct instructor at Lone Star Community College. Mike consults with credit unions in the southern, southwestern and midwestern regions of the United States on all aspects of member business services.

Mark is well-versed in all aspects of business lending including SBA lending, commercial real estate term loans, lines of credit, commercial and industrial loans, construction loans, and agricultural loans. Additionally, Mark has extensive experience in risk management and maximizing portfolio growth through the planning, development, and implementation of lending strategies, as well as business deposits relationship management. Mark consults with credit unions on all aspects of member business services and assists with special projects at CUBG. |

Coletta has over 32 years of financial and banking industry experience. Coletta comes to CUBG from a large community bank where she managed an SBA loan portfolio. With nearly 20 years of SBA lending experience, Coletta also helped develop the SBA program at a large Northwest credit union. Under her direction, the program gained SBA preferred lender status after just six months and was named the most active credit union SBA lender in its district for 2010. In her role at CUBG, Coletta assists credit unions with all aspects of SBA lending from loan origination to following the SBA Standard Operating Procedures, reporting, and more. |
